How to protect your hands with boxing wraps | step-by-step guide

Step 1: Preparing the Headband

Lay the band flat on a surface with the loop (thumb hole) facing up
Make sure the Velcro end is loose and not tangled

Step 2: Pass the thumb

Put your thumb through the loop
Wrap the band around the back of your hand, with the Velcro end facing your wrist.

Step 3: Wrap the band around your wrist

Start wrapping just above the wrist bone
Make 2-3 tight loops around your wrist for stability
Make sure the bandage is tight but does not restrict circulation

Step 4: Wrap the band around your thumb

Once you have wrapped your wrist, wrap the band diagonally across the back of your hand.
Wrap it around your thumb once, then pull it back over the back of your hand to your wrist.

Step 5: Wrap the ankles

After wrapping the thumb, move the bandage over the hand and knuckles.
Wrap your ankles 2-3 times, making sure they are completely covered

Step 6: Create an X on your hand

After wrapping the knuckles, pass the bandage diagonally across the back of the hand to the base of the thumb.
Wrap your thumb again, then bring it diagonally to your wrist, creating an X on the back of your hand

Step 7: Protect your fingers

Once you have formed an X, place the bandage between your little finger and ring finger.
Wrap it around your wrist and then between your ring and middle fingers.
Repeat for each finger, ending with the space between the index finger and thumb.

Step 8: Finish with your wrist

Once your fingers are secured, wrap the remaining material around your wrist 2-3 times.
Fasten the headband with the Velcro, making sure it is tight but comfortable
