A gymnastic ball with rubber expanders (tubings) is used, just like a typical gymnastic ball, for stretching and warming up exercises, but also for rehabilitation exercises.
Flexible lines are attached to the side handles, which are an integral part of the ball. Tubings can also be dismantled and enjoy the advantages of the ball itself. Tubing assembly and disassembly is quick and very simple. Flexible tubings will complete your training and will strengthen your arm muscles and the shoulder girdle.
The ball is used for general development exercises, correction of posture defects and rehabilitation. It is also used for fitness and pilates training, and is great for strengthening muscles.
This training device is universal, which is used both in competitive and amateur sports, as well as in rehabilitation. Exercises on the gymnastic ball are based on the need to maintain an appropriate balance by the exercising person. The need to maintain an appropriate balance is a factor that activates a number of muscle groups of the exerciser, which begin to work and strengthen in a natural way.
An important advantage of a gym ball as a training device is its low purchase price compared to the practical training possibilities it offers. The number of exercises that can be performed on your own (also at home) on the ball is large and incomparable to any other training device. If you want to perform a similar number of exercises as with a gymnastic ball, you would need to use several different devices.
The appropriate size of the ball is selected primarily on the basis of the height of the exercising person. The table below describes the dependence of the ball diameter on the height of the exercising person.
